QI/IMT Training
This course is designed to meet the Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement's (BSEE) training requirements for annual QI/IMT Oil Spill Response Training. The following topics will be covered:
- OPA 90 Liability
- Spill / Reporting Requirements
- Role of Government – Federal and State
- Regulatory Updates
- Incident Management
- Incident Command Post – Physical and Virtual
- Response Equipment
- Volume Calculation
- Oil Spill Trajectory Analysis and Prediction
- Response Planning
- Alternative Response Technologies
Per BSEE’s NTL 2012-N06, all QI/IMT members must attend annual training.
This training will be conducted with an in-person and remote option.

In-person – The physical training location is the second floor of the office, Suite 200, 19219 Katy Freeway.

Virtual – An MS Teams meeting will be set up to run concurrently with the in-person training. The meeting invitation will be sent the week prior to the training date.
